Business Development Executive

Role Summary:

As an Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing client relationships, and closing sales deals with new and existing clients. Your deep understanding of IT products and services, coupled with a talent for sales, will drive the expansion of our client base and help us achieve our sales targets. Experience in product sales and a working knowledge of digital marketing/SEO strategies will be considered an added advantage, enabling more effective targeting and engagement of our prospective customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential clients in the IT sector.

  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and exploring upselling opportunities.

  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate IT solutions and services, leveraging your experience in product sales to tailor your approach.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations of our IT products/services to clients and prospects, incorporating digital marketing/SEO insights to enhance message delivery and engagement.

  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals.

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, including trends in digital marketing and SEO that can impact sales strategies.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies and initiatives, particularly those involving digital marketing and SEO to enhance lead generation and brand visibility.

  • Attend industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows to promote our products/services and gather market intelligence, with an eye towards digital marketing trends and opportunities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field.

  • Proven sales experience in the IT industry, with a solid track record of achieving sales targets and experience in product sales.

  • Strong understanding of IT products and services.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge in digital marketing/SEO strategies is a significant advantage.
