Business Development Executive

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Infopark, Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing client relationships, and closing sales deals with both new and existing clients. Experience in product sales and a working knowledge of digital marketing/SEO strategies will be considered an added advantage. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential clients in the IT sector.

  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and exploring upselling opportunities.

  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate IT solutions and services, leveraging product sales experience to tailor approaches.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations of IT products/services, integrating digital marketing/SEO insights to enhance engagement.

  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals.

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, including trends in digital marketing and SEO.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute sales strategies that leverage digital marketing and SEO for lead generation and brand visibility.

  • Attend industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows to promote our products/services and gather market intelligence.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant field.

  • Proven sales experience in the IT industry with a solid track record of achieving sales targets and product sales experience.

  • Strong understanding of IT products and services.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing/SEO strategies is a significant advantage.
